Phalaenopsis Orchids
("Moth Orchid")

Low-to-medium light plant.

From the Greek phalaina (a moth) and opsis (looks like), referring to the moth-like appearance of the flowers. Our most popular orchid adds a breath of spring to the dreary winter.

Color range includes white, pink, lavender, magenta, and yellow in both solid colors and mixes of stripes and spots. Individual blooms can last as long as 3 months. The leaves are thick and leathery while the flowers grow upward from a single stem.

This orchid has proven to be quite effective in removing xylene from the indoor atmosphere!
